We have been building fun cars, sometimes outlandish, for a very long time. The first was a Spyder we built and drove to LOG27 back in 2007. We decided to build another one back in 2019 that became the 111RS Spyder, shown below. This year we decided to have some fun and build a new version that would feature a center seat.
Lotus built some race Elises with center seats back in the 90s that were never put into serial production. This car has always been in the back of my mind since then. Plus my ownership of a BAC Mono cemented my love for seating in the centerline of a sportscar.
So the decision was made and we've begun tearing into our car to see what it would take. Our goal is to unveiling it at LUG in Salt Lake City this Sept. We have our work cut out but remain determined to build a unique 111! This car will also feature additional innovations that we are certain will please many of our clients.
